What We Do

Commitment, Passion, Innovation, Responsibility

All of these words are used to describe our enthusiasm as a company to deliver building system designs for the “built environment” that are both economically and ecologically sustainable.

MKK has been designing energy-efficient mechanical and lighting designs for over 45 years.  We began offering sustainable design before the energy crisis and before the words became a catch phase.  We have three committees that gather and analyze data for new products, system applications, and funding sources. We hold regular seminars to educate our employees so that they can inform our clients of the latest ideas and trends in this field.  Taking proven technologies and incorporating them in more innovative ways can achieve incredible results.

MKK, as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and as an EPA Energy Star Service Provider and Partner, is proud to have designed the mechanical systems for the most energy-efficient high school in Colorado.  Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins obtained a Silver Certification in the LEED rating system, an EPA Energy Star Rating, and it continues to be recognized with awards throughout the nation as the benchmark for High Performance Schools.

MKK realizes that sustainable design is not only good business; it is the right thing to do.
