The culture at MKK surrounds our employees, our community, and our profession.  Employees are our greatest asset.  We strive to balance the professional workplace with an appreciation of the personal side of life.  We recognize that our employees work hard and feel that supporting activities outside of the work place are crucial to well-balanced employees. 

Having fun together on a more personal level outside of the office helps strengthen our team.  MKK's "fun at work" committee sponsors celebrations throughout the year such as picnics, ski trips, after work gatherings, monthly birthday cakes, and holiday parties.  The company also sponsors designer-league volleyball teams in the summer. 

We have committees that address other important aspects of our lives as well.  For example, MKK's "wellness" committee teaches and inspires us to make healthy choices.  The "reward and recognition" group acknowledges employees' contributions to the company.

MKK participates in community service activities at least once a quarter such as Race for the Cure, MS Walk, PBS phone bank, and Habitat for Humanity.  We also work with other organizations to give back to our community.  The "community service" committee keeps these activities in the forefront and organizes the company's participation.

Professionally, we are very involved with organizations that serve the engineering community; mechanically, electrically and as Consulting Engineers.
