Commissioning Services
Commissioning is a quality control process accomplished through a comprehensive, systematic delivery and documentation procedure which verifies that the Owner's Project Requirements (OPRs) are met. When properly implemented, this process yields a structure with building systems that meet OPRs and has lower operating and maintenance costs than a non-commissioned building. Numerous case studies demonstrate the benefits of commissioning; they show that the process typically saves the owner two to ten times the cost of the commissioning services. MKK can provide enhanced project documentation, operation and maintenance manual requirements, and training which provide the owner with the information necessary to keep their building operating efficiently for years to come. In short, commissioning provides better buildings through a better process.
We are excited to now offer full commissioning, retro-commissioning (existing building), and re-commissioning (commissioning a previously commissioned building) services. To ensure our clients receive highly knowledgeable service, our commissioning group includes multiple accredited Qualified Commissioning Process Providers (QCxP). By employing QCxPs, our clients are assured that the commissioning services offered by MKK are consistent with ASHRAE Commissioning Process Guidelines and with those of the Building Commissioning Association (BCA). Additionally, several of our commissioning agents have over 30 years of experience, bringing with them an expansive knowledge of the commissioning process.
