MKK Sustained Growth on ENR Mountain States List
A true testament to the market conditions and the firm’s commitment to client service, MKK Consulting Engineers moved up four ranks to place 16th overall on this year’s ENR Mountain States Colorado/Wyoming Design Firms list. As the top ranked Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Energy Services specific company on the list, MKK continues to deliver high quality solutions throughout the Rocky Mountain region. In addition to the overall ranking, the market sector specific list included MKK as ranking ninth in the commercial market sector and thirteenth in general building, showing a growth over 2014 rankings.
“We attribute our continued success to two primary factors: our outstanding staff continues to push the envelope and generate innovative and sustainable solutions, and our persistent focus on differentiation in energy and resource conservation,” said Kevin Pope, President/CEO of MKK Consulting Engineers.
Over the past several years, MKK’s growth has steadily increased above market inflation, due to diversity of projects, quality of service, and expansion throughout the country. It serves both domestic and international clients from the Colorado headquarters and also maintains offices in Wyoming, Montana, Utah and Bogotá, Colombia.
Recent key projects include:
- Denver Art Museum Administration Building
- The University of Wyoming Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center
- Digital Globe
- Mile High United Way
These projects all feature sustainable and innovative design solutions that reflect MKK’s dedication for preserving the environment.
“Our focus on conservation of energy and resources has led to value added services such as Energy Master Planning, WELL Building, Rapid Energy Analysis, and On-going Energy Management,” continued Pope. “These services coupled with our continued engineering excellence, allow MKK to provide added guidance to our clients earlier in the design process to assure efficiency goals are met, and allow us to assist building owners and operators to verify sustainable approaches incorporated in the design are realized in actual building operation.”
