Eastside Human Services Building
The Eastside Human Services Building, part of the “Building a Better Denver” 2007 Bond Program, reinforces Denver’s commitment to the northeast community. The facility replaced the department’s old, aging facility. This 51,000 SF facility included many high performance, sustainable solutions including a VRV system for heating and cooling the building’s occupants, an under floor air distribution system for better ventilation, and enhanced water conservation measures. MKK provided mechanical, plumbing and fire protection consulting services on this LEED-NC Gold Certified project.
