State of Wyoming Herschler Building IT/Server Room
The new 2,500 SF data room, part of the State of Wyoming Capitol Complex, was designed to function as their main facility for all state departments, including a division of Homeland Security. The facility utilizes in-rack cooling which eliminates the need for raised flooring. The in-rack cooling system is supported from an 80-ton chiller that in turn is backed up through spare capacity in the state’s central plant chiller system. In addition, the facility is electrically backed-up from a standby generator and is protected with an ENCARO 25 environmentally friendly fire suppressant system.
