MKK Announces New Client Project Management Lead for Salt Lake Office
MKK Consulting Engineers, Inc. (MKK), a leading mechanical, electrical, plumbing and innovation lab firm, announced the addition of Matthew Ferguson, PE, LEED BD+C, CEM, as a Client Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer for their growing Salt Lake City office.
As a design professional, Matthew has extensive knowledge of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methods, Performance Base Infrastructure (PBI) funding and other progressive methods of procuring and satisfying design contracts. Matthew’s nearly 15 years’ of design expertise includes new and retrofit of energy efficient HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for commercial office buildings, schools, universities, high end residential complexes, and hospitals.

In his new role at MKK, Matthew will be charged to advance the firm’s mission of “Consult More, Consume Less” and to grow its Utah market presence, focusing on innovative problem solving, high performance engineering, and sustainable design. Matthew is a Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Energy Manager, currently teaching sustainable infrastructure as an Adjunct Professor. He is able to skillfully advise clients on building envelope, energy modeling, daylighting, water usage, cooling and heating performance.
